The Herts Heroines Show was on 3rd July with over 60 participants and a packed audience. The show featured Queen Boudica’s army, The ATA Girls, The Suffragettes and Dolly Shepherd – community participants from Manderville, Samuel Ryder Schools and home school pupils played the roles along with Hemel Old Town Hall ladies dance group and key community actors like Bethan Hughes and Debra Cadet-Wallace as well as Trestle’s own mask maker Karene Horner-Hughes playing Queen Boudica. Our Heroines exhibition starts on April 30th at Hertford Museum, 18 Bull Plain, Hertford and is open Tuesdays- Saturdays 10am- 5pm, until July 1.
